As an ally of the LGBT community, I have been to York Street Cafe many times over the years and hope to return again soon. The bar/restaurant is an established “gay bar” owned by a charming and open gay couple that give back to the community in many ways, including annual support to the CT Gay Men’s Chorus (CGMC). The atmosphere is warm and inviting, in an old brownstone full of New England atmosphere. The food is consistently excellent and creative.
