When we were looking for a venue to hold our (same-sex) wedding and reception last October, we wanted to make sure we would be working with folks who are LGBTQ-friendly. Weddings are stressful enough, so we had zero tolerance for adding jerks into the mix. We lucked out with Aldridge Gardens! The main event director, Amanda, is very friendly, laid back, and easy to work with. Even the evening staff on site during our wedding were amazing. They treated us like VIP brides and were so kind and professional toward us and our family. We were surprised and delighted to know that they had held other weddings like ours – several were on the books that year! It’s such a naturally beautiful setting for any wedding, really. I think they way they treated us helped us to relax and enjoy our special day.
