Code Salon provides amazing services for your hair and they are one of the very best salons in town. Plus, it is wonderfully gay.
The owner Louise is a queer woman and many of the other people who work there are LGBTQ. The clientele is a diverse mix, but there are a lot of LGBTQ people who get there hair done there. A lot. So many that my friend and I once joked that we could just hang out at Code to meet woman.
In the evenings, they often volunteer the space to be used for community events. For instance, I recently attended a fundraiser for the Transgender Law Center at Code Salon.
