GSD Rescue of GA is a fabulous dog adoption group based in the metro area. The volunteers welcome everyone with open paws to their community. The group rescues German Shepherd dogs from shelters and rehomes them. It’s like a Match.com for dogs!
The group is careful to match a dog with the right family, including children, cats and other dogs. The dogs live in foster homes, so they have a good idea how active a dog will be, if s/he would be bored at home all day, and how much training s/he’ll need. Not everyone will be able to take a young dog jogging, you know! German Shepherd Rescue also hosts fun events throughout Atlanta, like wine tasting or dock diving where you can meet the dogs and bring your own to mingle. Check them out!
