Magic City Sweet Ice

Many may remember the business owners, an interracial couple, receiving a racist letter in late May. Because of this we wanted to show our support and visit their store. On our visit were warmly greeted with by an employee wearing an Equality Alabama t-shirt.

The italian ice was absolutely delicious. Our daughter was very indecisive on her flavor and the employee allowed her to take her time and to sample many flavors. Although I was trying to rush our daughter into a decision, the employee was very friendly and understanding.

Magic City Sweet Ice also has a vending cart that makes it rounds to local farmer’s markets, festivals, and events. I strongly encourage you to stop by their store or visit their food cart. This family understands how it feels to be oppressed and marginalized. Let’s give them our support!
