When we checked in we explained that we had just gotten married, as we can finally do in Missouri ….Yeah! The staff was so incredibly friendly and welcoming, they said congratulations and after we got to our room a knock came on the door and we were delivered a bottle of champagne and a congratulations note, with a note saying they were honored that we chose to celebrate our special day with them. Check out the “pride package” they offer, it’s cool. The hotel is spotless the rooms are hip and mod but really comfortable. Reasonably priced restaurant and a killer rooftop terrace. We told the waitress in the restaurant we had gotten married the night before and she didn’t bat an eye but smiled and congratulated us, maybe I was testing her but her reaction was so genuine. Funky neighborhood to walk around in, a bit bohemian, it’s obviously the cool area of the city to stay in. We can’t wait to return.
