I have recently started seeing Nancy Ferraro who is a LMFT. She came highly recommended by my PCP because as a gay man, I wanted to make sure she was not only accepting of the LGBTQ Community, but could relate and connect to some of the problems LGBTQ people face in the community. During my intake, I asked right out if she was accepting of the LGBTQ Community and her response was just so warm and comforting. She has a wealth of knowledge, can get at your level, responds to your needs because she says, “I work for you so you tell me what YOU want to get out of ME,” and keeps it real. If you are looking for a therapist who not only guides you to your own answers, teaches you how to cope with anxiety, stress and depression, but can also keep you in check and keep it real, Nancy is the therapist for you! Hands down, the best therapist I have seen!
