  1. Silvertron is awesome! Owner and Chef, Marco Morosini and his wife Elan, are the most community-minded folks I have met. Not only is their food fantastic, but they are very supportive of many local organizations and nonprofits including all of our LGBTQ organizations and events. They also do a lot for the neighborhoods surrounding their restaurant and they help feed the homeless. They are angels! (And Silvertron has the best brunch in town, too!)

  2. Locally owned restaurant, friendly and supportive!

  3. They are so amazing and giving to the community. When I heard they gave 10% to sales to BAO (just write BAO on your receipt), I knew I had to try them. I was not disappointed at all! Their fried mushrooms are amazing and all of their pasta dishes are out of this world.

  4. Marco and Elan are wonderful. They are so giving to the entire Birmingham community. They care about their neighbors. They are wonderful to BAO and those we serve. On cold nights, Silvertron provides food to the homeless at the warming stations. They are a huge asset to our community.

  5. Marco Morosini, the owner of Silvertron, is a leader in LGBT supportive businesses in Birmingham. He and his staff have demonstrated years of service to the LGBT and greater community, dedication to supporting causes, and leadership. Please visit his restaurant when in town. Silvertron is a mainstay for Birmingham. The food is great, the atmosphere is nostalgic, and the staff is friendly. Try the fried cheese and the burgers!

  6. This is hands down the most supportive restaurant of the LGBTQ community in birmingham. They sponsor an LGBT softball team, give 10% of your bill back to birmingham aids outreach when you write BAO on your ticket and host events and donate to Central Alabama Pride. It helps that the menu is so diverse and the food is delicious!

  7. Silvertron Cafe is one of my favorite places! They offer a fantastic and affordable brunch in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Marco, the owner is one of the biggest champions of the LGBTQ community and even donates 10% of all receipts marked “BAO” to Birmingham AIDS Outreach, a local AIDS Service organization. Last year, he sponsored the first queer prom at The Magic City Acceptance Center. I cannot say enough great things about Marco and the Silvertron Cafe!
