We really loved UAB Obstrtrics and Gynocology. I had complications during my pregnancy and was on bedrest for 3 weeks. During this time, we got to meet every doctor in the group and all we super helpful, understanding, and professional. 7 of the 9 or so doctors in the group are female if that is important to you. Since seeing one of these doctors could result in admitting to UAB, then I will also pass on how amazing the hospital staff have been and how great the RNICU and NICU staff were. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this group!!

Dr. Hoover is absolutely amazing! She is an OB/GYN. My wife and I have been going to her for the past 8 years. She was very supportive of our decision to conceive a baby. She supported us the entire pregnancy and was over joyed with us on the day of our delivery! I’m the birth mother but there was no doubt my wife was Mom also! I love Dr. Hoover and her staff at the UAB Women’s and Children’s Center!

Dr. Hoover has been mine and my wife’s OB/GYN for years now. She is warm and welcoming. She provided us with excellent information when we spoke with her about having more children. She would be an excellent physician for any LGBT individuals, especially those considering having children.
