I am a sophomore, almost a junior in high school. Since 9th grade, I have been involved in the Gay/Straight Alliance and people barely notice our club, even the principal. We are seen as a joke by kids in our school and even by kids in our own club. They don’t take us seriously and make jokes about the LGBT community.
